A VOICE FOR ALL TERPS.
Our Mission
The SGA is the governing body for all undergraduate students at the University of Maryland, College Park. Composed of three branches - executive, legislative, and judicial - the organization collaborates with various student groups, administrators, and government officials to ensure student interests are met.

To ensure the voice of the student body is heard, SGA members reach out to their peers in classes, campus events, and the office. The SGA implements legislation to address concerns and support student groups with their missions and programming. Through its efforts and outreach, the organization continuously strives to enhance the university experience.

We serve as the representative body for all undergraduate students, formulating resolutions to address student concerns, aiding student groups in their missions and programming, and advocating through appropriate university, local, state, and national government channels. Through our efforts and outreach, we aim to create a better undergraduate experience and community at the University of Maryland.

Committees
Committees are the main way in which SGA initiatives come into fruition. Headed by directors and comprised of legislative representatives and other students, committees are at the heart of SGA.

Most committees are open to everyone, and this semester, they are held in the SGA office in SORC.
