You may utilize office hours in person at the SGA Office (Suite 0208J, Student Involvement Suite, Stamp) or over Zoom by request to SGAcfo@umd.edu. Hours are subject to change.
Our mission is to ensure the effective allocation and management of financial resources for student organizations here at the University of Maryland, College Park. We oversee all SGA funding processes, including the distribution of the Student Activities Fee (SAF) to SGA-recognized student organizations on campus. Whether you’re looking to apply for funding, understand our financial policies, or stay updated on our latest initiatives, we're here to assist you.
Before Applying for Student Activity Funding
There are some steps every student group must complete before applying for funds. Below are the last few steps in order to make sure you're budget submission is successful and you get funded:

Register as a student organization on Terplink and with SORC

Confirm SGA-Recognition

Go through the powerpoint on the Budget Submitter page AND pass the knowledge check

Review the funding guidelines found in the SGA Finance Manual
